Camembert

 

French people are wrong.
Or at the very least incapable of good cheese manufacture.

Everything I've said about Brie also goes for Camembert.
It gets an extra wedge for having a better name, and fewer lumpy bits.

It also has the dubious honour of a starring role in the Monty Python "cheese shop" sketch.
"...I think it's a bit runnier than you like it, sir."
"I don't care how excrementally runny it is, just hand it over with all speed!"
"Oh!"
"What?"
"The cat's eaten it."
